The Education Review Office | Te Tari Arotake Mātauranga (ERO) is the New Zealand government’s external evaluation agency. They work with services, kōhanga reo, schools and kura to help them and their learners/ākonga flourish, by reporting on what’s working well and what can improve.

The teachers at Karori Kids are a very strong unit and are genuinely loving towards the kids. The teacher:child ratio of 1:4 is great in terms of the special attention the kids receive. My two daughters have been really well setup to start school because of the transition to school programme. My 2 year old boy goes there now. The kids love the massive outdoor play environments. My son moved to Karori Kids a few months ago from a Kelburn kindergarten. He's a shy boy but it doesn't take long for him to get used to and enjoy the place thanks to the support, kindness and friendliness from the teachers. We love to see him excited to go to school everyday. He also loves the daily cooked meals by the school. As parents, it's great to see him happy and learn something new at school while paying a reasonable fees (FYI, we're actually saving big bucks by moving here). Trung Huu Truong
Best decision we ever made sending our daughter to Karori Kids. The teachers and management are absolutely fantastic and they create so many amazing opportunities of learning and play for all the tamariki. Karori Kids isn't just a daycare, it is like a little family.

Have had all 3 of my children attend Karori Kids, over the past 5 years. The teachers are caring, considerate & passionate about what they do. The centre is well equipped for 2-5year olds & they set the children up for school so well with their thunderbirds programme. My children have always been super happy to go & I feel soo confident that my children are in really good hands! The children are fed hot meals every day, you don’t have to faff with pack lunches! Staff are warm and trustworthy. Activities are worthwhile including the outings (especially Tumbling Tots) which my child enjoys. I also find the inclusion of meals and snacks as a timesaver for our daily morning prep. Lester Demabildo
Kaori Kids has lovely nurturing teaching staff an awesome outdoor space with 2 pet chickens and offers wonderful learning experiences for the tamariki. I highly recommend Kaori Kids! Sheldon Wilson

Karori Kids offers a wonderful caring and supportive learning environment for our son. The facilities are great, particularly the large sunny outdoor space. My son loves all the teachers and we love the homely environment and the small roll, plus it is location is fabulously convenient given we drop off our daughter at Karori Normal School at the same time.
